This project is being started
because the City Council is focusing its attention on
the growth and development of the business
community. This focus has resulted in the the
purchase of over I00 acres of prime commercial/
indusail property. This property will be used for the
development of a high quality industrial park area.
The City has completed the construction of two
roadways to service a portion of this property and
has already sold off four lots from its holdings.

The combination of this property purchase and
business visitations has led to an increase in the
number of commercial/industrial properties
developed. Along with currently pending projects,
the City has seen the construction of the Ramsey
Commercial Park Business incubator of over 26,000
square feet, with two future phases to bring it to over
70,000 square feet, the Detail Tool and Engineering
building of I3,000 square feet and the Wendell's
facility of over 24,000 square feet. The long-term
outlook for additional construction is also very
strong with the City currently discussing
development opportunties with additional business
concerns. This development will be anchored by the
construction of the Anoka Electric Cooperative
Headquarters in the west and the new Ramsey
Business Park in the east.

As additional developments occur in the future they
will be highlighted in theis newsletter

(FastTrac Continued)
FastTrac II is an eleven-week course designed for
entrepreneurs who want to develop an existing
business but need the skills to help make it grow.
Cost, including books: $295.00

FastTrac I:

FastTrac II:

To Register for a FastTrac Orientation Session,
call:

Deb Rodgers
(612) 962-4408
Lenore Loonan
(612) 962-4408
