Councilmember Peterson inquired about Charters feelings on the length of the Mayor's <br />terms and also about having to resign your position on Council in order to nm for another <br />office. <br /> <br />With regard to resignation of position, Chairperson Steffen stated he would be concerned <br />about the natural animosity have created during a heated election. The two opponents <br />would have to "sit at the same table" to discuss issues and that may be a problem. <br /> <br />Charter directed Staff to run an article in the R~msey Resident and this issue would be <br />again discussed at the next Charter Commission meeting. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Goode and seconded by Commissioner Nelson to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson ~teffen, Commissioners Ooode, Nelson, <br />Donovan, Netzloff and Swokowski. Voting No. None.
