JN'T <br />FOR SIRE2W RECEIVER/DECODERS <br /> <br /> T~vIE AND M~TERIA_LS SERVICE <br /> <br />This maintenance services agreement is made and entered into as of this day of <br /> · , 19__, by and between Doradus Corporation, a Mlinnesota corporation, of 6095 <br />East River Road, Fridley, Minnesota 55432, hereinafter referred to as "Doradus" and the <br />municipality of r , County), /X~nnesota, hereinafter <br />referred to as the "City". <br /> <br />DEFINITIONS <br /> <br />The terms "Unit", "Receiver/Decoder", and "Service Call" shalJ be defined as follows in this <br />Agreement: <br /> <br />UNIT <br /> <br />"Unit" consists of the entire siren installation, including the pole, siren, <br />receiver/decoder, electrical service and connections, area around the pole and access to <br />the site. <br /> <br />"Receiver/Decoder" is the portion of the siren system which is responsible for the <br />r~eipt and transmission of control commands and information and the activation of <br />the circuitry which actually sounds the siren. This includes the radio u-a.nsceiver, the <br />decoder board and its power supply (including the.bauers' backmp), the antenna, the <br />interconnecting cables and connectors and the control box. <br /> <br />SERVICE CALL <br /> <br />A "Service Call" is a visit to a unit with the intention and capability of performing <br />either preventive maintenance or corrective action to the receiver/decoder. A technician <br />m ~aking a service call shall have with him/her the tools and spare parts necessary to <br />reasonably assure a fully operational receiver/decoder at the end of the sen, ice call. <br /> <br />It is a~eed by and between the pa~es as follows: <br /> <br />1. SERVICES <br /> <br />Doradus shall provide and the City shall compensate DoradUs as hereinafter provided for the <br />following: . <br /> <br />1.1 PREVEN'ITXq~ /~IAINTF~ANCE-A Doradus technician shall perform a <br />preventive maintenance inspection of each unit described on Attachment 1 attached <br /> <br /> <br />
