SUNWOOD DRIVE TRAIL CORRIDOR <br /> <br />This trail corridor allows connection from the County Road #116 corridor and the State Highway <br />#47 corridor within the City's urban area. Recreation destinations accessed from this trail include <br />Solstice Park, containing play equipment, gazebo, and similar amenities. Proposed east of the <br />park with residential subdivision development will be the addition of a ballfield. Midway on this <br />corridor are points to connect to Ramsey Elementary School and south to Flintwood Terrace and <br />Emerald Pond Parks. Near Sunfish Lake Boulevard, trail users will be able to enjoy the view <br />afforded by Hunter's Hill Park and ultimately access Sunfish Lake itself. The Sunw0od Drive <br />Trail and the north/south linkage to the elementary school will be especially important for students <br />at the school, liberating young people from the need to access the school by automobile and <br />providing many opportunities for after-school recreation, learning and special programs. <br /> <br />STATE HIGHWAY ~-47 TRAIL CORRIDOR <br /> <br />This corridor in Ramsey begins at County Road #I 16 and the River's Bend Park. While its use <br />wilt be primarily transportational, there are various areas of natural beauty, including the Boy <br />Scout Camp north of 153rd Avenue and many wetlands adjacent to the highway.
