The $25,000 estimate in the <br />"other' cat~:gory could represent monies derived from AEC's sale of commercial lots in <br />their subcI~ivision or similar sources. Proposed is picnic areas and paths for workers' <br />breaktimeiactivities around this commercial/industrial area. One proposal floated for the <br />east portion of AEC site was for a daycare facility. If this occurs, an active play area could <br />be integrated into the 27-acre open space. As the County Road #116 corridor becomes a <br />more freqtlent work site destination and non-vehicular travel route, a rest area in this area is <br /> <br />also of val~ue. AEC has indicated they will prepare a concept plan for the park for City <br /> <br />review. Tl~e site may also be a candidate for tax increment financing. <br /> <br /> <br />
