11.

The Alpine Park site is located between the landfill and 153rd Avenue, west of Sunfish
Lake Boulevard, The park will be important as a community park, athletic complex, and
for neighborhood use. The $220,000 projected from the Park Trust fund will be enough
for Phase I development of the park. The sum is expected to be derived from the
residential development of the property north of 153rd Avenue. Readers of this text will
note that 1998 also provides an opportunity for Landfill Trust fund dollars given
community priority.

The park's planning will officially begin during the winter of 1995/1996 by a resident
committee of differing interests. In the spring of 1994, the City received a minor grant for
roadside tree establishment. These small trees are held in pots and may be planted in
boulevard fashion along 153rd Avenue in 1996 in anticipation for the park's development.

12.

The acquisition of the Outlot in Reilly Estates is shown within this document to
explore the opportunity of adding this homeowner association parcel to the public domain.
The property is a point on the Rum River overlooking one of the only tree islands in this
stretch of fiver. The near channel is quite rocky with good fishing. The site is wooded
with excellent passive park development possibilities.

The primary owner is a developer with interest in the undeveloped land east of Woodland
Green Park. Future park dedication resulting from development of this land (east of
Woodland Green) could include the riverine outlot as well as expansion of Woodland
Green.
