The existing southerly entrance <br />to the ball.field a~ea will be relocated to the south as a result of the expansion and will direct traffic <br />to the recreation~J areas and the parent parking lot. The existing access to the homestead parcels <br />acquired south of the existing site will be eliminated. <br /> <br />City Staff is recon-anending that school zone signs be erected at the north and south approaches to <br />the school. The ~igns should be retrofitted with yellow flashing lights that signify the high vehicle <br />and pedestrian tr'Mfic times during school arrivals and departures, <br /> <br />Pedestrian Pathw~ For pedestrian transportationaI purposes, the site plan should be modified to <br />include a ten fod, t wide bituminous trail parallel to Nowthen Blvd. from the north to the south <br />property line of the site.
