AEC is aware and Airplane Club will relocate <br />when AEC builds. <br />Council voted to table the case on Canvas Craft and set up a <br />committee of you, Councilmember Hardin and Mayor Gilbertson to <br />meet with Mr. Franta. If the meeting cannot be scheduled until after <br />the new year, Councilmember Peterson will take Mayor <br />Gilbertson's place on the Committee. Schedule such meeting. <br />Meeting was held with Hardin. <br /> <br />Council granted preliminary plat for Townhouses of Rum River <br />Hills in accordance with the City Staff Review Letter dated October <br />27, 1994. Proceed to final plat stage. <br /> <br />Christmas Tree Lot signs were discussed. The Council talked <br />about having the Planning Commission review the sign ordinance <br />as it relates to seasonal, etc. As discussion ensued, it appeared the <br />consensus of the Council was that this would be a good discussion <br />for the workshop. Councitmember Zimmerman stated he felt that <br />with regard to Christmas Tree farms, the signs should pertain more <br />to the directional rather than to the price of the trees. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission voted to recommend that City Council <br />grant approval to the site plan for the expansion of Ramsey <br />Elementary School contingent upon modifying the site plan to <br />include B-612 concrete curbing around the perimeter of all <br />bituminous surfacing, providing for the various recommended <br />trails, submittal of an acceptable drainage plan including a berm <br />along the south site boundary to insulate a small depressed pocket, <br />and installation of street lighting at each of the two parking lot <br />entrances from County Road #5. Forward to City Council. <br /> <br />Findings of Fact - Anoka Hennepin Independent School District <br />No. l l's request to rezone certain property: The Planning <br />Commission voted to amend the findings in the affirmative and <br />recommend that City Council adopt the amended Findings of Fact, <br />Forward to City Council. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission voted to recommend that City Council <br />approve the request from Anoka Hennepin Independent School <br />District No. 11 to rezone certain property to R-3 Urban Residential. <br />Forward to City Council. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission voted to recommend' that City Council <br />grant site plan approval to Ralph's Gun and Pawn.
