Councilmembcr <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #95-06-._ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #~ RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FROM MIKE BAHN FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO <br />STORE COMMERCIAL LANDSCAPING EQUIPMENT IN THE R-1 RURAL <br />RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Mike Bahn, hereinafter <br />referred to as "Applicant", for a conditional use permit to store commercial landscaping equipment <br />in the R-1 Rural Residential District on the property generally known as 14911 Juniper Ridge <br />Drive N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 8, Block 4, Rum Acre Estates, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property"). <br /> <br />NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Applicant has properly applied for a conditional use permit to store commercial <br />landscaping equipment in the R- 1 Rural Residential District. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />That the application is pursuant to a Code enforcement sweep ordered by the Ramsey City <br />Council. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />That the applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Section 9.03.04 (conditional use permits) on June 6, 1995, and that said public hearing <br />was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br />by reference. <br /> <br />That the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Rural Residential and is approximately 1 acre in <br />size. <br /> <br />5. That the surrounding properties are also zoned R-1 Rural Residential· <br /> <br />That Section 9.11.10 (off-street parking) of the Ramsey City Code states that no more than <br />one one-ton motor vehicle bearing a commercial license shall be parked or stored in a <br />residential district except when loading, unloading or rendering a service. <br /> <br />That the Applicant owns two 2-1/2 ton single-axle dump trucks, one bobcat, and one 14- <br />foot bobcat trailer, and is requesting City approval to maintain that equipment on the subject <br />property. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that there will be no exterior storage of materials related to the <br />landscaping business. <br /> <br />That there are currently two other similar permitted conditional uses existing within the R-1 <br />Rural Residential District (issued in I989 and 199I). <br /> <br /> <br />
