PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO CITY CODE CHAPTER 9 In the Urban Residential District no outside storage of any motor vehicles or equipment shall be permitted EXCEPT as follows: 1. Currently licensed motor vehicles may be stored outside. 2. Equipment, the primary purpose of which is for residential/private transportation use or personal recreational use, may be stored outside, but then only if parked on a bituminous paved or concrete surface. In the Rural Residential District, on parcels less than three (3) acres in size, no outside storage of any motor vehicle or equipment shall be permitted, EXCEPT as follows: 1. Currently licensed vehicles may be stored outside. 2. One unlicensed motor vehicle may be stored outside. 3. Equipment, the primary purpose of which is for residentiaUprivate transportation use or personal recreational use, may be stored outside. In thc Rural Residential District, on parcels three (3) acres in size or larger, no outside storage of any motor vehicle or equipment shall be permJtted, EXCEPT as follows: I. Ckn'rently licensed vehicles may be stored outside. 2. One unlicensed motor vehicle may be stored outside. 3. Equipment, the primary purpose of which is for residential/private transportation use or personal recreational use, may be stored outside. 4. Commercial motor vehicles and commercial equipment may be stored outside only under the following conditions: (a) The vehicles and/or equipment shall be screened to a degree of 100% opacity from adjacent parcels, public property or rights of way. (b) The vehicles and/or equipment shall be stored only on the side yard or rear yard of the subject property and said items shall bc stored only on a bituminous paved, concrete, con bit or prepared gravel or other City approved equivalent surface.
