If it is decided to require land as park, developer will return to the Planning Commission with a sketch plan. The Planning Commission directed City Staff to prepare an ordinance amendment to Sections 9.50.02 (except SuM. t.a), 9.50.03 and 9.50.04 and to review for possible amendment the verbiage of Sections 9.50.37, Subd. 5.e; 9.50 37, Subd. 9.b; 9.50.50, Subd. 3, paragraph 9 (Stage I Improvements); and 9.50.57, Sub& 2, as discussed. Forward to Parks and Recreation Commission and City Council prior to scheduling public hearing. Council adopted the policy entitled "Provisions for Temporary Structures in Emergency Situations". Council approved Bernie Vevea's request for an extension to his 1991 site plan for the expansion of Ve-Ve, Inc. The extension is good to September 30, 1996. Note: Mayor Hardin noted the items you brought up that would not be approved if the site plan were before Council today and inquired of Mr. Vevea if he would be open to discussion. He offered to discuss anything the City wants to discuss and that Ryan has to recommend. With regard to the proposed amendment to Chapter 9 of the City Code to amend the platting process, Council directed that it be forwarded to the Planning Commission for a public hearing.
