7o <br /> <br />Subdivision Design Standards <br /> <br />§ 9.50.30 <br /> <br />~0.~,..~ Subd. 2. City action. <br /> a. <br /> <br />The Council shall act on the final plat within 60 days of the date <br />on which it was filed with the zoning officer and pursuant to <br />state statute. Failure to so act within this 60 day period shall <br />constitute approval of the final plat. The final plat shall not be <br />approved ff it does not conform to the preliminary plat, including <br />all changes required by the Council, or does not meet the <br />engineering and design standards and specifications to the City. <br /> <br />Except for Administrative Subdivisions, City Staff <br />shall copy the Planning Commission and the Park and <br />Recreation Commission on all cases and development <br />agreements being forwarded to City Council for final <br />plat approval. <br /> <br />No final plat shall be approved by the Council without fzrst <br />rece a re o,6 ........ ,J ,~,,z ........ zoning officer <br />thc r,:,~. ^ ........ ~,'.~---.h~, the improvements described <br />therein, together with the agreements and documents required <br />under this section, meet the requirements of the City and <br />adoption of a resolution. .'l~,,e r,:~,,..,,: ,-..~..,,.,~. ......... :ha!! <br /> <br /> Subd. 3. Recording. Following approval of the final plat by the <br />Council, the zoning officer shall promptly notify the subdivider of said approval and <br />furnish him with a c~rtifi~ copy of the resolution approving said plat. Within two (2) <br />years following final plat approval, the final plat shall be recorded with the County <br />Recorder or Registrar of Titles of Anoka County. Thereafter, the Council may extend the <br />period upon written application by the subdivider and subject to all applicable performance <br />conditions and requirements, or the Council may require submission of a new application <br />unless the Council finds that substantial activity and investment has occurred in reasonable <br />reliance on the approved application and the subdivider will suffer substantial financial <br />damage as a consequence of a requirement to submit a new application, zt~qe~a~ide~ <br /> <br /> · ~' .... Required plat data. It shall be a condition to the approval of <br />a final plat that the following data shall be shown on said plat or shall be furnished <br />therewith: <br /> <br />Names of the subdivision, which name shall not duplicate or too <br />closely approximate the name of any existing subdivision; <br /> <br />Municipal, township, county or section lines accurately tied to <br />the boundaries of the Subdivision by distances and angles; <br /> <br />Accurate angular and lineal dimensions for all lines, angles and <br />curvatures used to describe boundaries, streets, easements and <br />areas reserved for public use.
