Drive-In Establishment - An establishment which <br />commodity to the r~ccupants of a motor vehicle, <br /> <br />provides a service or <br /> <br /> Driveway - An on-site traffic lane leading directly to a garage from the closest <br />street access, the width of which cannot exceed the garage width by more than fifteen (15) feet, <br />or in the absence of a garage, a traffic lane to a parking pad that cannot exceed twenty (20) feet <br />in width. <br /> <br /> Dwelling Unit - A residential building or portion thereof intended for occupancy <br />by one family in~;luding apartments but not including hotels, motels, nursing homes, seasonal <br />cabins, boarding or rooming houses, tourist homes or trailers. <br /> <br /> Dwelling, Attached - A dwelling which is joined to another at one or more sides <br />by a party wall. <br /> <br />Dwelling, Detached - A dwelling unit not attached to another dwelling or <br /> <br />structure. <br /> <br /> Dwplling, Multiple (Apartment) - A building designed with three (3) or more <br />dwelling units exc[lusively for occupancy by three (3) or more families living independently of <br />each other but sharing hallways and main entrances and exits. <br /> <br /> Dwelling, Single Family - A dwelling unit designed exclusively for occupancy <br />by one family. <br /> <br /> Dwelling, Twinhome - A building containing two attached dwelling units, side- <br />by-side, that share common walls at the lot line and that are on separate lots. <br /> <br /> Dwelling, Two Family (Duplex) - A dwelling designed exclusively for <br />occupancy by two [2) families living independently of each other. <br /> <br /> Easement - A grant by a property owner for use of a strip of land by the public or <br />any person for any specific purpose or purposes of construction and maintaining utilities and/or <br />roadways. <br /> <br /> Equipment, Commercial Use - Any motorized or non-motorized apparatus <br />whose primary use is to facilitate the generation of revenue. <br /> <br /> EqUipment, Private Use - Any motorized or non-motorized apparatus whose <br />primary use is for personal activities not related to generating revenue or profit. <br /> <br /> Essential Services - The erection, construction, alteration or maintenance of <br />underground or ov. erhead gas, electrical, steam or water transmission or distribution systems, <br />collection, communication, supply or disposal systems by public utilities, municipal or other <br />governmental agencies, but not including buildings. <br /> <br /> Farm - A tract of land used for agricultural uses which is under cultivation or is <br />fenced and utilizedas pasture. <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br /> <br />
