The enforcement actions provided for in this Section shall not be <br />exclusive, and the City Council may take any action with respect to a <br />licensee, a tenant, or the licensed premises as authorized by Federal, State, <br />or local laws and ordinances. <br /> <br />8.60.10 <br /> <br />Ad2ministration of Enforcement <br /> <br />Subd. 1. <br /> <br />Inspection of Dwelling Units and Premises <br /> <br />The City Building Official and/or Fire Official is hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter and make such inspections as are necessary to determine <br />the condition of any dwelling unit and premises for compliance with this <br />Section. The owner or occupant of every dwelling unit, or the person in <br />charge thereof, shall give the Building Official free access to such dwelling <br />unit and its premises at all reasonable times for the purpose of such <br />inspection, examination, and survey. This Section shall not apply to <br />investigations conducted by the Police Department regarding prohibited <br />conduct or other similar illegal activities. <br /> <br />Every occupant of a dwelling unit shall give the owner or operator thereof, <br />or their agents or employees, access to any part of such dwelling unit or its <br />premises at all reasonable times for the purpose of inspecting or effecting <br />such maintenance, repairs or alterations as are necessary to effect <br />compliance with the provisions of this Section or with any lawful rule or <br />regulation adopted or any lawful notice or order issued pursuant to the <br />provisions of this Section. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. Compliance Order <br /> <br />Whenever the City Building Official and/or Fire Official determines or has <br />reasonable grounds to believe that there has been a violation of any <br />provision of this Section, the Building Official shall give notice of such <br />alleged violation in the form of a Compliance Order to the person <br />responsible therefore. Such order shall: <br /> <br />1. Be in writing. <br /> <br />2. Include a description of the real estate sufficient for identification. <br /> <br />3. Describe in sufficient detail each violation. <br /> <br />Contain an outline of remedial action that, if taken, will effect <br />compliance with the provision of this Section. <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br /> <br />
