Recommendation: <br /> <br />The City approves several Conditional Use Permits each year for oversized buildings to <br />accommodate indoor storage of vehicles and equipment. With respect to the early start on the <br />slab, the City does not have any process for assessing a penalty other than to halt the work. The <br />contractor has been advised not to backfill around the slab so that if the Conditional Use Permit <br />and building permit are approved, the Building Inspectors will be able to inspect the floating <br />slab. If the Conditional Use Permit is not approved for the size overage, the applicant will have <br />to set the walls at less than the size of the concrete slab. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that City Council adopt findings of fact relating to David and Gale <br />Hennek's request for a conditional use permit for an oversized accessory building. <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that City Council approve David and Gale Hennek's request for an <br />oversized accessory, building based on the findings of fact, and adopt a resolution declaring terms <br />of same. <br /> <br />-or* <br /> <br />Moti'on to recommend that City Coun6il deny David and Gale Hennek's request for a conditional <br />use permit for an oversized accessory building, based on the findings of fact. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br />Community Development Director <br />Assistant Community Development Director <br />Associate Planner <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />Copies 'To: <br />Building Inspectors <br />Interim Building Official <br /> <br />PC: 10/2/03 <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br /> <br />
