Recommendation: <br /> <br />The City approves several Conditional Use Permits each year for oversized buildings to <br />accommodate indoor storage of vehicles and equipment. With respect to the early start on the <br />slab, the City does not have any process for assessing a penalty other than to halt the work. The <br />contractor has been advised not to backfill around the slab so that if the Conditional Use Permit <br />and building permit are approved, the Building Inspectors will be able to inspect the floating <br />slab.
