Absent: None. <br /> <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />The Commission noted the following minutes: <br /> <br />1) City Council regular meeting minutes dated July 22, 2003 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARI,NGS/COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case/t8: <br /> <br />Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Process Demolition Concrete in the <br />E-2 Employment District; Case of Sauter and Sons, Inc. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt called the public hearing to order. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Brauer to table the request for a <br />conditional use permit to process demolition concrete in the E-2 Employment District and <br />continue the public hearing to the October 2, 2003 Planning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Brauer, Johnson, Shepherd, <br />Van Scoy, and Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Case#l: Request for Review of Revised Site Plan of Alpine Meadows; Case of <br /> Shadetree Construction, Inc. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon reviewed the Alpine Meadows <br />subdivision and site plan was approved in 2002 to construct 42 townhome units. Of these units, <br />16 were planned to be located adjacent to Highway 47 in four back-to-back style buildings that <br />each contained four units. He presented building elevations showing what was approved by the <br />City Council in 2002. He stated staff determined in mid-August 2003 that the first four unit <br />back-to-back building being constructed did not conform to the approved site plan. He indicated <br />Staff put a halt to the work and met with the builder, Shadetree Construction. He noted the units <br />that were approved in 2002 had a height of 35 feet as measured to the peak of the roof. The units <br />being constructed currently are 40.5 feet to the peak of the roof. He indicated the new building <br />does show a third floor, as well as 2nd story porch and a different entrance.
