Absent: None. <br /> <br />Commissioner Johnson noted he is pleased staff reacted to this as they did and stopped <br />construction. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Request for a Conditional Use Permit for an Oversized Accessory Building; <br />Caae of Shirley Wilson <br /> <br />Public Hearing and Presentation <br />Community Development Director Frolik advised that the City received an application from <br />Shirley Wilson for a conditional use permit to exceed the accessory building size restrictions <br />established in City Code on the property located at 5391 156th Lane NW. She indicated the <br />subject property is approximately .84 acres in size and is located inside the MUSA. Under City <br />Code, parcels between 14,880 square feet and 43,449 square feet can have up to 1,488 square feet <br />of accessory build!ny space. The proposed building will be 1,200 square feet in size. She stated <br />coupled with the existing garage, which is 528 square feet, the applicant will have 1,728 square <br />feet in accessory buildings, resulting in an overage of 240 square feet. She advised the applicant <br />would like to exceed the 1,488 square feet restriction in order to construct a detached accessory <br />building that would accommodate the storage of private use vehicles and equipment. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik advised Staff is recommending approval of Shirley <br />Wilson's request for a conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Adjourn Public Hearing <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Johnson to close the public hearing at <br />7:36 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
