Production Design Products, inco

141'61 Basalt Street NW · Rarnsey, MN 55303 · (612) 421-4260 FAX: (612) 421-2158 (800) 486-5249

October 19, 1993

Mrs. Sylvia ~rolick
City of Ramsay
15153 Nowthe~ Blvd. N.W.
Ramsey, MN 55303

Dear Sylvia:r

As a business owner located across the street from Danny's
Transmisssio~ I have been aware of the company "Danny's
Transmission, being in violation of his conditional use permit.
(Again).

Last week duTing business hours and after business hours Danny's
Transmission=~left trailers from Semi trucks and Semi trucks with
trailers standing in the road (Basalt St.) waiting to be unloaded
or loaded fo~ days at a time during the week of October ltth thru
the 15th. T~is is the street in front of our driveways, where we
receive deliveries from companies driving semi trailer trucks and
the area our iemployees drive to and from work.

To my knowledge Danny's Transmission does not own Basalt St. nor
does he havelpermisssion in his newest conditional use permit to
operate his business in a public street.

After seeing no improvement in this situation this week, I spoke to
John at RamseY City Hall. He told me that for action to be taken
to document -my complaint and record dates and times of the
violations. Below is what I observed this week;

On Monday, O~tober 18th, trailers were parked on and backed up
behind each ~ther in the street throughout the day. I did not
record the ex,ct times because I was not aware that I had to supply
this information until Tuesday October 19th, however, there were
trailers parked and backed up on the street when I left work at
4:30 p.m. on,this day and there was one or more trailers and
vehicles parked there all day long.

On Tuesday October 19th, when I arrived at work at 9:00 a.m. the
same trailer ~hat had been parked there on Monday (the front one)
was still in ~he street. When I left to watch my daughter's game
in Elk River ~t 3:45 p.m. the same trailer from the morning was
still sitting~in the street (name on trailer was Century /Mercu_~y
license platel#25992), a semi truck with trailer (license plate
#?57?83) and a~other trailer parked behind that one with no license
plate. All t~ree were lined up in back of each other.

Converting Your Ideas Into Reality
