B) At least two policy issues targeted by Arc shall be <br />effectively resolved through legislation, policies or rule <br />making procedures. <br /> <br />C) 90% of people requesting Arc presentations shall report <br />increased sensitivity toward people who have developmental <br />disabilities. <br /> <br />Object~ve 2: To provide workshops and support systems which <br />will enable families to meet others, to learn essential <br />information and to be supportive of each other. <br /> <br />Performance Measurers: <br />A) 90% of 300 people attending workshops, consultation and <br />presentations, who complete a survey, shall report that the <br />activity helped in meeting their needs. <br /> <br />B) 90% of 70 people receiving one-to-one advocacy services <br />and completing a survey, shall express satisfaction with the <br />outcome. <br /> <br />C) 85% of 120 people attending workshops and completing a <br />survey shall report learning more about the topic. <br /> <br />D) 90% of 12 families matched with a pilot parent will <br />report being saSisfied with the relationship. <br /> <br />Evaluation: Techniques will include informal feedback from <br />participants, su.~vey tools and staff~ observation. <br />Additional techniques will include conducting a housing <br />inventory, examining the County CSSA plan and budget, and a <br />review of public policies developed during the year. <br /> <br />4. Coordination with Community <br /> <br />Arc of Anoka County is recognized as a leading non-profit in <br />the area and the services provided by the organization are <br />not available through other community organizations or <br />public programs. Arc is involved in a number of <br />partnerships and consortiums designed to improve the human <br />se-~,ices delivery system and the quality of life for area <br />citizens. <br /> <br />These include the Anoka Area !nteragency Early Learning <br />Committee; the Anoka County Community Interagency Transition <br />Committee; the knoka County Person to Person Volunteer <br />Program; Anoka County Affordable Housing Coalition; and a <br />number of advisory committees for various organizations. <br /> <br />5.
