Sylvia Prolic-City of Ramsey pg. 2 To show good faith and not ignore totally my agreement with the City of Ramsey, I blacktopped the most traveled area of the lot and the area where 75% of my trailers are stored. During the first year in a new location, With moving expenses, repair ex- penses, etc.., the blacktop amount of $15,000.00 that I spent was exorbitant and has forced us to make cut-backs and caused an even mome stressful winter (off-season) than usual. The following is my amended plan Of improvements: 1993 Blacktop $15,000.00' COMPLETE 1994 & 1995 Addition to front of bldg. $25,000.00 1996 Blacktop $15,000.00 1997 Blacktop $15,000.00 No one can see the future economic conditions of my business, therefore, my plans are projections based upon reasonably profit- able years. I cannot be forced to make pledges of dollar improve- metns that may not prove_'to be reasonable in the future if it causes my business to suffer. Dalles RV World has proven itself to be a very credible business as a member of the Better Business Bureau, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce, Recreational Vehicle Dear&rs Asso- ciation and with a 95% Customer Satisfaction Rating. We need to further improve the condition of the physical property by making what we feel are the most necessary improvements in the next few years. We feel that the City of Ramsgy. has enough control with our dealers license and it should not 'be necessary for us to pay for a letter of credit to prove our intentions. I do not feel that the City of Ramsey should take away our right as a business to prosper and to push us to the point of b~ing in- solvent by tagging us with unnecessary expences both large and small.
