TO AND OPERATE AN ALTERNATE FUEL SUPPLY TEST iTION FACILITY WHEREAS, Kaltec of Minnesota, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied for a temporary Conditional Use Permit to establish and operate an alternate h~el Sul~ply test demonstration facility on the property generally kno,am as 14730 Sunfish Lake BI,eL N.W. and legally described as follows: The South one-half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 32, Range 25, Anotbt County, Minnesota. ("Site") ~ NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C~TY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That Kal~ec of Minnesota, Inc. applied on January 11, 1994, to the City of Ramsey ~"City") for a temporary conditional use permit to establish and operate an alternate fuel supply test demonstration facility on land currently zoned t-1 Industrial. 2) That the Al~plicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant to §9.03.04 of the City Code on February 1, 1994, and that said public heairing was properly advertised. Notice rff said public hearing was published ~ the City's legal newspaper, Anoka County Union, on January 21, 1994 and ~iled notices of the public hearing were sent at least 10 days prior to the public hearing to property owners within 1,000 feet of the user boundaries of the property in question. 3) That the m~hutes of the public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. 4) 5) That at thq public hearing, the Applicant made a presentation describing it's proposed tet;t demonstration project in accordance with the written submittal entitled "Kaltec of Minnesota, 14025-C 23rd Avenue No., Plymouth, Minnesota 55447, Request for~Conditional Use Permit, City of R~msey, January 11, 1994". That the S~te is owned by Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. and that they suppon th[~ application. 6) That the pm'Vel on which the proposed use is located-is 40 acres in size. 7) Tkat thc Applicant proposes to erect an g,400 square foot pre-engineered enclosed structure to~:house the fuel cell, gas processing equipment and ancillary support equipment.
