8) 9) 13) 14) 16) 17) 18) 20) That the equipment housed in the smucture includes two process modules, fuel cell stack, start-up heater, start-up skid, load bank, LFG cleanup system, Data acquisition system and conn-ol room. Thc equipment will utilize the iandfiI1 gas currently generated by thc landfill to demonstrate the potential use in generating electricity. The equipment has redundant safety features inclmiing automatic shut- down procedures. Thc test faciliw will also include two (2) temporary mobile structures to provide office and bathroom facilities for project personnel. That thc Applicant has indicated that at the conclusion of the test demonstration, the snmcture will be removed from the Site and the equipment will be transported to another project site not within the Ciw limits. That the Applicant has indicated that zero residue from the test operations will rernmin on the Site; that all by-products are sh/pped out of state. That the Applicant has stated that no State or County permits are required for the test demonstration facility. That the permit being sought is for a per/od of one (I) year to accommodate site set- up, 4,000 hours of demonstration testing and site teardown. That the property south and west of the Site is zoned Industrial and Residential to the north and east. That the test demonstration fazili5, is proposed to ~ located approximately 500 feet from the nearest residential dwelling. That mater/als and supplies required to support the demonstration will be delivered by truck to the Site utilizing the existing landf'H1 entrance off Sunfish Lake Blvd. N.W. That the Applicant has indicated that the test demonstration facility will be a 24 hour a day operation. That the Applicant has indicated that the methane gas extracted from the landfill during the test demonstration w/Il not impact the flow of gas necessary for the power supply to Waltek, Inc. That the Applicant has indicated that the noise factor associated with the operational characteristics of the landfill gas/fuel cell system wLll be lower than the noise level of the existing blowers located at the site as part of the groundwater treatment facihry. That the Applicant has inddcated that the odor factor will be less than cu~ent existing odors at the Site for the following reasons: the demonsmafion project will utilize the land2ll gas flow prior to the existing flaring process; and b) the gas wilt ~ introduced into a clean-up process system prior to introduction into the fuel cell.
