Absent: None. <br /> <br /> Case #2: Request for a Conditional Use Permit rotan Oversized Accessory Building; <br /> Case of David and Gale Hennek <br /> <br /> Presentation <br /> Associate Planner Geisler advised the City-received an application from Singco Builders, <br /> representing David and Gale Hennek, for a conditional use permit to exceed the accessory <br /> building ·size restrictions established in City Code on the property located at 16100 Wolfram St. <br /> NW. She indicated the subject 'P~0Perty is approximately 1.12 acres in size. She further advised <br /> that according to[City Code, the property is eligible for 1,664 square feet of accessory building <br /> space. The proposed building will be 1,408 square feet. Coupled with the existing garage of 704 <br /> · square feet, the applicant would have 2,1 12 square feet in accessory building space. This results <br />·' in an. overage of 44'8 square feet. She stated the applicant would like to exceed the size <br /> restriction in order to construct a detached accessory building that would accommodate the <br /> storage of private use vehicles and equipment. <br /> <br />Associate planner Geisler indicated the proposed detached accessory building will be located in <br />the rear yard. The proposed accessory building location will meet and/or exceed all setbacks <br />establikhed in the R-1 Rural Development District, and the applicant has legally obtained an <br />easement from the adjoining property owner to utilize their driveway for access to this proposed <br />structure. She indicated the concrete slab for this proposed structure has already been poured. <br />She stated this work occurred prior to the approval of the Conditional Use Permit and the <br />building permit, and without a required inspection. All work has since been halted until a <br />determination has been made regarding the request for a Conditional Use Permit for an oversized <br />accessory structure.
