PC# ,)-- <br />APPOINT COMMISSIONER TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br /> By: Givonna Reed, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />In August 2003, Michael Reeve resigned from his seat on the Planning Commission. The <br />vacancy was advertised in the September/October issue of the Ramsey Resident and 16 <br />letters of interest were submitted. The majority of interviews were conducted on <br />September 25th. One interview will be conducted on October 14, 2003 for an applicant <br />who was not able to interview on September 25th. After the final interview on October <br />14th, staff will: ask the Personnel Committee for its recommendation to fill the vacancy. <br /> <br />Committee Action <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that the City Council appoint David Jeffrey to fill the seat on the <br />Planning Commission for a term that expires December 31, 2004.
