Second Street, Suite 302 <br />Minneapolis, MN 55401 <br />Re: Ramsey Municipal Parking Facility <br />City Project #10-22 <br />PCO #01 — PR #1 — Foundation Modifications <br />Dear Mr, Fossing: <br />Please find enclosed our estimate to provide revisions to the Foundations per PR 41 with the following clarifications: <br />Proposal is based on secondary pipe material, availability <br />Piles are to be driven with Swinging Leads. <br />Time allowed for 2 PDA test piles with the cost of this testing by Others. <br />Vibration monitoring of the existing structure is by Others. Settlement monitoring has been included. <br />Our original scheduled date for completion of the 2"d level deck is October 20111, based on PR 41 we anticipate the <br />delays in relation to PR 41 to be 3 weeks, which would make the placement date for Pour 41 November 14h. This <br />delay will require additional costs for heating of the concrete and blanketing on the concrete deck and depending on <br />weather conditions at the time may require enclosure and heating of the under slab. Based on our estimate the costs <br />associated with delayed placement of the 2"d level deck would not exceed $14,000. These costs are not included in <br />this proposal and would be tracked on a T & M basis and would be submitted at the completion of the 2"d level <br />deck. The cost for this work would not exceed $14,000. <br />We have assumed this work can be completed without negatively impacting the existing structure should it be <br />determined this work is negatively impacting the existing structure we reserve the right to submit for additional cost <br />and time. <br />This pricing is based receiving approval to proceed with this work no later than September 16, 2011. <br />Based on the attached estimate we are requesting a change order in the amount of One Hundred Ninety Seven Thousand Seventy <br />Seven Dollars ($197,077.00), the amount identified on the attached cost itemization. <br />If during your review of this information, questions remain, please telephone at 763-525-3038. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />KNUTSON CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, INC. <br />/;�— <br />J m L.
