Counciln~m~r adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its RESOLUTION g94-04- RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID HIGHWAY WHI~REAS, the City of Ramsey has adopted a Comprehensive Plan which provides for ~t system of arterial and collector thoroughfare; and WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has established a Municipal State Aid S~eet System (MS,S) under Chapter 162 of the State Statutes which promotes the construction and mainten r~nee of such an arterial and collector system; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Ramsey to modify the designated N!~ SAS top conform to its changing transportation needs. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF! RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) Tha~the following MSAS segment be added to the system: A segment connecting Highway gl0 at its intersection with Traprock Street N.W., northward a distance of 0.42 miles to intersect with non-existent segment 104. 2) Tha~ the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to forward two cert$fied copies of this resolution to the Commission of Transportation for consideration and, that upon approval of the revisions of said road or portion thereof, that same be constructed, improvement and maintained as a part of the MS/kS of the City of Ramsey.
