Counciln~m~r <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION g94-04- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID HIGHWAY <br /> WHI~REAS, the City of Ramsey has adopted a Comprehensive Plan which <br />provides for ~t system of arterial and collector thoroughfare; and <br /> WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has established a Municipal State Aid S~eet <br />System (MS,S) under Chapter 162 of the State Statutes which promotes the construction <br />and mainten r~nee of such an arterial and collector system; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Ramsey to modify the <br />designated N!~ SAS top conform to its changing transportation needs. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF! RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1) Tha~the following MSAS segment be added to the system: <br /> <br /> A segment connecting Highway gl0 at its intersection with Traprock <br /> Street N.W., northward a distance of 0.42 miles to intersect with <br /> non-existent segment 104. <br /> <br />2) Tha~ the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to forward two <br /> cert$fied copies of this resolution to the Commission of Transportation for <br /> consideration and, that upon approval of the revisions of said road or portion <br /> thereof, that same be constructed, improvement and maintained as a part of the <br /> MS/kS of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motioB for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by. <br />Councilme~ber and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor ther~f: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the foll~wing abstained: <br /> <br />and the foRowing were absent: <br /> <br />whereupoq said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council th~ the 26th day of April, 1994. <br /> <br /> Mayor <br /> <br />ATTESTi <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
