introduced the following r~solution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION ~94-04- <br /> <br /> RESOLUTIOI~ APPROVING ABATEMENT OF CERTAIN SPECIAL <br /> ASSESSMENqS CERTIFIED IN 1993 FOR THE CITY IMPROVEMENT <br /> PROJECT g92-01, CITY FUND #437, COUNTY FUND g82188. <br /> <br /> WHER~.S, the City's Improvement Project Number 93-01 is identified as Crack Filling <br /> and Seal¢oafing ~ nprovement of Crows Unplatt~ Addition; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, PIN #R09-32-25-44-0001 lies within the project area and was duly assessed <br /> a portion of the p~oject costs; and <br /> WHERI~AS, this property has been conveyed to the City of Ramsey by the filing of a <br /> deed with AnokalCounty mating an exempt property; and <br /> WHERI~AS, it is necessary to abate the levy for special assessments as certified for <br />Project g93-01 o~ PIN #R09-32-25--44-0001; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is also necessary to abate taxes levied in 1993 for payable 1994 on PIN <br />#R09-32-25-44-0001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, to correct the County roll it is necessary that the City of Ramscy approve <br />abatement of lev~ed special assessments and taxes for payable 1994. <br /> <br />NOW THER]~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEYi--o ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That thq City Council of the City of Rumsey hereby approves abatement of special <br /> assessments for Improvement Project//93-01, City Fund 4/437, County Fund #82188 for <br /> parcel R99-32-25-44-0001 and the abatement of taxes levied in 1993 for payable 1994. <br />2) That th~ City of Ramsey hereby insmacts the Finance Officer to process ai1 paperwork as <br /> requiredCby Anoka County Auditor's Office in this regard and to notify the property owners <br /> involved of the Council's action. <br /> <br />The motion forithe adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> ~ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the followifig voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br /> the folloWh~g were absent: <br />and <br /> <br />whereupon sait~ resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 26th day or'April, 1994. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administr ~tor <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
