Commissioner Strommen clarified 275 stalls are allocated to the Flaherty and Collins project and <br />some will be allocated for the rail. She expressed concern with reserved spaces and said she <br />wanted to be assured there would be sufficient public parking as The COR builds out. <br />Development Manager Lazan confirmed there are 275 stalls for Flaherty and Collins. The <br />majority of their stalls will be on the top level. He explained the parking structure and assured <br />Commissioner Strommen there would be sufficient parking for the public. <br />Commissioner Ramsey questioned who the responsible party would be for enforcement of <br />parking in the ramp. <br />Development Manager Lazan replied it is the apartment owner's responsibility. <br />Discussion took place on how to be sure the parking stalls are used by the people they are <br />allocated for. <br />Motion by Commissioner Ramsey, seconded by Commissioner Wise, to: 1) approve the <br />proposed Development Plan (version 5.03) as required by Ordinance; 2) approve the proposed <br />Parking Plan (version 5.03) as required by Ordinance; 3) approve the amended and restated <br />Parking Use and Maintenance Agreement (PUMA - A) and direct counsel to finalize the <br />document incorporating the previous items; and, 4) present all related documents for adoption by <br />the City Council. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Elvig, Commissioners Ramsey, Wise, Backous, <br />McGlone, Strommen, and Tossey. Voting No: None. <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />None. <br />EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT <br />HRA Executive Director Nelson stated the Sunwood realignment continues and the Commission <br />is trying to market the retail space as part of that realignment.
