CASE # <br /> <br />REPORT ON LOWER RUM RIVER WATER MANAGEMENT <br /> ~ ORGANIZATION JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br /> By: Steven Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />You will recall, on May 10, 1994, the Council was provided with a draft of a joint powers <br />agreement wilth the Cities of Andover, Anoka and Coon Rapids for the operation of the <br />Lower Rum l~iver Water Management Organization (LRRWMO [WMO]). The Council <br />expressed co~cern over the fact that the voting power within the organization was <br />disproportion~tte to the financial obligations of each member, and requested that I discuss <br />with the mere >ers a proposal for voting in proportion to the financial contribution. The <br />WMO will ha ,e it's May meeting on Thursday, May 19, 1994, and I intend to address this <br />issue with the~ and report back to the Council. <br /> <br />For your information, I am including the current members' proportional financial share of <br />the operation and maintenance budget.
