This contract, made and entered into this / ~ day of <br />~.'~b~'/' ., ,~9~4 by and between the Greater Anoka County <br />Humane socket} , 'i411 Main street, coon Rapids, MN 55448, <br />here.~nafter i referred to as "Humane ,S.oci.~ty",/%~?~. the city of <br />_ _ _~ ~_ u'~.: ....... , _ _iJ/3~ _ .4,'36', v_~....a_~ , <br /> ~d.i.?.7~f~Ji, ~Y2~/ ~-~7~ , hereinafter referred to as <br />"~u~icipdli~". <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Municipality is in need of animal control <br /> services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Humane Society is qualified and willing to <br /> provide such an animal control program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Municipality wishes to purchase these services <br /> from the Humane Society in accordance with this <br /> contract; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained <br /> herein, it is agreed and understood as follows: <br /> <br /> I. Shelter for animal drop-offs on a 24 hour basis. <br /> <br /> 2. ~Pick-up and transport animals to the Shelter during <br /> normal business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm, seven days <br /> iper week), upon request of the appropriate Municipal <br /> official. <br /> <br />Animal examinations and veterinary care (within the <br />scope of our abilities) as required whenever staff is <br />available. <br /> <br />Boarding for up to five (5) days· <br /> <br />Euthanasia and disposal of animal if required. <br /> <br /> <br />
