Collect license fees from owners who retrieve animals <br />not previously licensed. <br /> <br />Handle all animal abuse/neglect cases in the Anoka <br />county area in cooperation with municipal officals <br />when necessary. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />RESPONSIBILITIES OF ~{E MUNICIPALITY <br /> <br />The Municipality shall call the Humane Society for <br />pick-up of animals during normal buainess hours, <br />as specified above, or will transport the animals to <br />the shelter on a 24 hour basis. <br /> <br />After normal business hours, the Municipality shall <br />obtain treatment for injured animals that are in a <br />life-threatening condition. The Humane Society will <br />pick-up the animal as soon as possible after <br />treatment. <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />CO~SATION <br /> <br />1. The Municipality shall pay the Humane Society the <br /> following fees: <br /> <br /> A. IMPOUND FEE: An administrative charge of <br /> $30.00 per animal for the first day of impound. <br /> <br /> B. BOARDING FEE: $9.00 per day, per animal, for <br /> each day after the first day of impound. <br /> <br /> C. QUARANTINE FEE: In addition to the regular <br /> boarding fee, $5.00, per day, per animal, for <br /> all animals which must be quarantined. <br /> <br /> D. TRANSPORTATION FEE: $30.00 per hour. <br /> <br /> E. VET SERVICES FEE: $30.00 per hour. <br /> <br /> F. EUTHANASIA FEE: $.31 per pound disposal <br /> (see attachment for euth solution fee). <br /> <br /> G. VACCINATION FEE: $2.00 per dog. <br /> <br />2. License fees shall be turned over to the <br /> Municipality. <br /> <br />3. The Municipality will not be charged those costs <br /> recovered from pet owners. <br /> <br /> <br />
