Councilmember introduced the lbllowing resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #94-08- THE INDUCTION OF ALAN BUSINESS AND ECONOMIC RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING ADDITION TO THE RAMSEY FAME C. PHILLIPS AS THE 1993 DEVELOPMENT HALL OF WHEREAS, our business communilv forms the economic structure of ()ur CiD, as well as the quality of life and COmmunity spirit; and WHEREAS, our businesses and industries offer goods and services which provide comfort and convenience, and sustain the health, safety and welfare of thc City residents; and WHEREAS, Alan C. Ptfillips has been a driving force behind thc development of thc City of Ramsey's economia growth and well-being; and WHEREAS, Mr. Phillips has been involved with numerous programs developed and offered by the City of Ramsey. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby recognizes Alan C. Phillips as the 1993 inductee into the city of Ramsey's Business and Economic Development Hall of Fame for his involvement in the community and his conu'ibutions to the economic growth and well-being of the City of Rarnsey. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmcmbcr and upon vote being taken thereon, thc following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against thc same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 9th day of August, 1994.
