Councilmember <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #94-08- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #94-18 (EXTENSION OF MUNICIPAL <br />WATER AND SANITARY SEWER TO LOT 1, BLOCK 1, RAMSEY 67 <br />INDUSTRIAL PARK AND IMPROVEMENT TO URANIUM STREET <br />N .W.) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has been approached by Mr. Dennis Sharp for <br />the development of an incubator type facility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed location of this facility is in a tax increment district; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it will be necessary to have municipal sewer, water and street <br />improvements to service this facility. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the project is hereby referred to Steven Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is <br />instructed to prepare a feasibility study for the City Council with all convenient <br />speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed <br />improvement is feasible and as to the cost of the project. The City Engineer shall <br />also comment as to whether i~ should best be done as proposed or in conjunction <br />with some other improvement. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement <br />Project #94-18. <br /> <br />The motion for rile adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against tile same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 9th day of August, 1994. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
