The following outlines the basis of <br />our proposal. <br /> <br />TASK 1 - BASIC SERVICES <br /> <br />A. Preparation of plans and specifications for the extension of sanitary, sewer and watermain: <br /> <br />Final design and detailed plans will be completed based on the preliminaD, layout and review comments <br />received from agencies and the City. We will work with the Anoka Electric Cooperative and their <br />engineers to determine the exact sen, ice requirements and utilib' locations within the development parcel. <br />RLK staff has recently completed utility design for several large commercial and residential sites. <br /> <br />The plan and profile sheets would be completed in accordance to the Ci ,ty's utility standards. Detailed <br />construction sPecifications will be prepared based on IvY/DOT standard specifications and to the <br />Standard Udlib' Specifications as prepared by the City Engineer's Association of Minnesota, 1988 edition. <br /> <br />B. Identify and prepare legal descr/ptions for easements required outside dedicated rights-of-way: <br /> <br />The majority of the 30" sanitary interceptor and 16" watermain will'be constructed within dedicated <br />rights-of-way. RLK will confer with the City and representatives of Anoka Electric Cooperative to finalize <br />routing, easements and service requirements. <br /> <br />After determining the exact utility locations, legal descriptions for easements will be prepared if <br />necessars.'. The easements will be prepared as earl), as possible in the design process, so that the <br />construction completion date is achieved.. <br /> <br />C: Address requirements'for dewatering and Count), Highway permits associated with the construction: <br /> <br />Soil borings will be taken along the utilit3., alignments. If ground whter is encountered, methods of <br />handling the groundwater during construction will be addressed. <br /> <br />The Anoka Count3.' Highway Department will be kept abreast of the proposed construction and the <br />'required permits will be identified and indicated in the special provisions and plan set. We will review the <br />proposed work with Anoka Coun .fy Highway Department to insure that they support the project and that <br />the work completed ~dthin their right-of-way is completed to their satisfa~ion.
