Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g94-09- RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMEN~ PROJECT #94-01 (SEALCOAT AND ESTATES 3RD '.ADDITION) WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the City Council on September 27, 1994, the City Administrator was Flirected to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improvements to Ford Brook Estates 3rd Additiofi; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator has notified the City Council that such proposed assessment has been completediand filed in his offiee for public inspection. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOVA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: l) That a public hearing shall be held on October 11, 1994 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey Municipal Center, to Mass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning with rcfcrcncc to property af~ctcd by such improvcment will bc given opportunity to bc hcard an such assessrhcnt. PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR CRACK FILL FORD BROOK 2) 3) That the Ciiy Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of the public hearing on the proposed as};essment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in thc notice thc total cost of thc improvement. He shall also cause mailed notme to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings. That the owiaer of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment by the County Auditor, pay thc whole of the assessment of such property, with interest accrued to the date of lJayment to the City, except that no interest shall be charged if thc entire assessment is paid within ~30 days from the adoption of thc assessment. The owner may at any time, thereafter, pay to thc City the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December ]J of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must be made before November 1!5 or inmrcst will be charged through December 3 i of the succeeding year.
