Councilmcmbcr <br /> <br />inLroduccd thc following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> <br />RESOLUTION C~LLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT[, PROJECT #94-13 (BITUMINOUS OVERLAY WHISPERING PINES <br />ESTATES PLAT ~) <br /> <br /> WHEREASi by a resolution passed by thc Cily Council on September 27, 1994, the Ciiy <br />Administrator was d~rectcd to prepare a proposed assessment of thc cost of improvements to Whispering <br />Pines Estates Plat 3; ~d <br /> <br /> WHEREAS,] thc Cily Administrator has notified thc Cily Council that such proposed asscssmcnt <br />has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TItE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOK~ COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />I) That a publi~ hearing shall be held on October I1, 1994 at 7:00 p.m. at thc Ramsey Municipal <br /> Center, to pa~s upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning <br /> property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunily 1o be heard wilb reference Io <br /> such assessmSnt. <br /> <br />2) That the City, Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of thc public hearing on thc <br /> proposed assdssment to be pubhshcd once m the officml newspaper at least two weeks prior to the <br /> hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of thc improvement. Fie shall aisc) cause <br /> mailed nonce}to be given Io tile owner of each parcel described in tile assessmenl mil not less than <br /> two weeks pribr ir> Ibc hearings. <br /> <br />3) That the owndr of any property sc) assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment <br /> by tile County~ Auditor, pay thc whole of tim assessment of such properly, with interest accrued to <br /> the date of pa]'mcnt to the City, except that no interest shall be charged if thc entire assessment is <br /> paid within 3( days from thc adoption of thc assessment.
