Councilmember ~ introduced thc £ollowing resolution and moved for its adoption: ~ RESOLUTION #94-09- RESOLUTION D~ECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSEDfASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #93-11 (BITUMINOUS SURFACING Or HEDGEHOG STREET N.W. BETWEEN I51ST LANE N.W. AND 153RD AVENUE! N.W. AND 152ND AVENUE N.W. FROM HEDGEttOG STREET N.W. EAST TO ITS T~RMINUS) WHEREA,q, a contract has been Ici and costs have been determined with reference to thc bituminous surfacifl~g of Hedgehog Street N.W. between 151st Lane N.W. and 153rd Avenue N.W. and 152nd Avenue N.W.. from Hedgehog Street N.W. cast to its terminus, and thc expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $27,205 so that the total cosl of the improvement will be $27,205. NOW THEREFO~RE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOI~A COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1 That the ponton of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City of Ramscy is hereby declared to be $0 and thc porlion of the cosl ltl be assessed against benefited properly owners is declared to bc $27,205. 2) That the prin~:ipal of the assessments shall be in annual installments extending over a period of ten (10) years; the firSL of thc installments to be payable on tlr before December 3 l, 1995 and shall bear interest at thc rate of' ;L75 pcrccm per annum from thc date of thc adoption of thc assessment resolution. 3) That the Cit ~ Adrninistrator shall calculate thc proper amount to bc specially assessed for such improvcmcn against cvcry assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within thc district affected, without regard to casl valuation, as provicled by law, and shall file in thc city offices a copy of such proposed assessment f~r public inspection. 4) That thc City, Administrator sh,qll, upon thc completion of such proposed assessment, notify thc Ramscy City ~ouncil thereof. ... i The motion for the adoption of thc foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmcmbcr and upon vote being ~akcn thereon, the Folk)wing voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and thc following were absent: and the following abs[ai ned': whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by thc Ramscy Cily Council this thc 27th da), of September, ] 9~)4.
