Councilmember ~ introduced thc following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #94-09- RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSE~ ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ~93-12 (BITUMINOUS SURFACING ~'F 177TH AVENUE N.W. FROM ST. FRANCIS BOULEVARD N.W. TO ITS EASTERN iTERMINUS) WHEREA!S, a contract has been let and costs have been determined with reference to the bituminous surfacing of 177th Avenue N.W. from St. Francis Boulevard N.W. to its eastern terminus, and the expcnses incurred or to bc incurred in thc making of such improvement amount to $14,840 st) that thc total cost of tim improve~nent will be $14,840. NOW TItEREFr.0RE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1 ) That the potion of thc cost o£ such improvement to be paid by the City of Ramscy is hereby declared to be $0 and, thc portion of Ihe cosl Io be assessed against benefiled property owners is declared to be $14,840. That the prir~cipal of the assessments shall be in annual installments extending over a period of ten (10) years; the fi~t of the installments to be payable on or belore December 31, 1995 and shall bear interest at thc rate o~9.75 pcrccnl per annum from thc dale of the adoption of tile assessment resolution. 3) That thc Ci~ Administrator shall calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvemen} against ever), assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within thc district affected, without regard to ca~ valuation, as provided by law, and shall file in thc city offices a copy of such proposed assessment f6r public inspection. That the Cit}, Administrator shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Ramsey City,Council thereof.
