Councilmembcr ~ introduced the following resolution and moved k)r its adoption: ~ RESOLUTION #94-09~ RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED~ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #93-13 (BITUMINOUS SURFACING O~ 164TIt LANE N.W. FROM NOWTttEN BOULEVARD N.W. [COUNTY ROAD #5] WES~ TO ITS TERMINUS) WIIEREAfl, a contract has bccn let and costs have been determined with reference to the bituminous surfacirlg of 164th Lane N.W. from Nowthcn Boulevard N.W. (County Road #5) west to its terminus, and the cx~)enscs incurred or to bc incurrcd in thc making of such improvement amount to $21,470 so that thc total cost It')f thc improvement will be $21,470. NOW TItEREF(JRE, liE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOI~A COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 13 That the portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the City of Ramscy is hereby declared to be $0 and the portion of thc cost lO be assessed against benefited properly owners is declared Io be $21,470. That fl~c prine;.ipal of the assessments shall be in annual installmcnts extending over a period of ten (103 years; the tirol of the installments to be payable on or before December 31, 1995 and shall bear interest at the rate o[' {L75 percent per annum from thc date of thc adoption of the assessment resolution. 3) That thc City AdminisLrator shall calculate the proper amount to bc specially assessed for such improvemen.l, ragainst every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file in the city offices a copy of such proposed assessment f6r public inspection. 4) That thc CitY; Administrator shall, upon thc completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Ramsey C/ty Council thereof.
