Councilrnember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION ~)4-1 O- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOI~ A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO E'~"P-AND AN OUTDOOR <br />RECREATIONAL FACILITY IN THE INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT <br /> <br /> WHERE3i, S, KRS Investments, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant",.has properly <br />applied for a Conditional Use Permit to expand the outdoor recreational facility in an Industrial <br />District at 14622 Ferret Street N.W. to include a golf driving range on the property generally <br />legally described is follows: <br /> <br /> Lot 1, Bloq:k 1, HY-10 RAMSEY, Anoka County, Minnesota; and <br /> <br />CITY <br />1. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />That pan c~f the Southwest Quaner of the Northeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 32, <br />Range 25,ilying northeasterly of T.H. #10 and #169, except road, subject to easement of <br />record. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW Tt-IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />OF RAI~iSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the ,~ <br />to Section <br />and that s <br />hearing ar. <br /> <br />pplicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public heating pursuant <br />9.03.04 (Conditional Use Permits) of the Ramsey City Code on October 4, 1994 <br />Lid public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public <br />hereby incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />That the ;subject property is zoned Industrial and consists of two lots totalling <br />approxim~ttely 9 acres (4.7 acres and 4.3 acres) located on the north side of the existing <br />Gamefim{ Sports Park facility. <br />That the 4Pplicant has signed a purchase agreement for Lot 1, Block 1, Hy-10 Ramsey that <br />is contingent upon the successful acquisi,u_'on of the adjacent property to the west currently <br />in tax forfeiture proceedings and the City s approval of a conditional use permit application <br />to develop, the lots with a golf driving range. <br /> <br />That the akl3acent properues to the north and west are also zoned Industrial and the adjacent <br />property ~/~o the east and the property on the south side of Hwy #10 N W is zoned B-3 <br />Highway iBusxness. <br /> <br />That on .~.pril 26, 1988, the City Council issued a conditional use permit to the Subject <br />Property t? the establishment of an outdoor recreational facility in the Industrial District <br />that woul~ include miniature golf, go-can track, bumper boats and roller fink. <br /> <br />That on ~pril 26, 1994, the City Council issued a conditional use permit to expand the <br />recreation~ facility to include batting cages. "' <br /> <br />That the ~Applicant is proposing acquire the adjacent '10 acres and expand the outdoor <br />recreatior~al use by the addition of a golf driving range. <br /> <br /> <br />
