Councilrnember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION ~)4-1 O- A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A REQUEST FOI~ A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO E'~"P-AND AN OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL FACILITY IN THE INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT WHERE3i, S, KRS Investments, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant",.has properly applied for a Conditional Use Permit to expand the outdoor recreational facility in an Industrial District at 14622 Ferret Street N.W. to include a golf driving range on the property generally legally described is follows: Lot 1, Bloq:k 1, HY-10 RAMSEY, Anoka County, Minnesota; and CITY 1. o That pan c~f the Southwest Quaner of the Northeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 32, Range 25,ilying northeasterly of T.H. #10 and #169, except road, subject to easement of record. (the "Subject Property") NOW Tt-IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE OF RAI~iSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the ,~ to Section and that s hearing ar. pplicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public heating pursuant 9.03.04 (Conditional Use Permits) of the Ramsey City Code on October 4, 1994 Lid public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hereby incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. That the ;subject property is zoned Industrial and consists of two lots totalling approxim~ttely 9 acres (4.7 acres and 4.3 acres) located on the north side of the existing Gamefim{ Sports Park facility. That the 4Pplicant has signed a purchase agreement for Lot 1, Block 1, Hy-10 Ramsey that is contingent upon the successful acquisi,u_'on of the adjacent property to the west currently in tax forfeiture proceedings and the City s approval of a conditional use permit application to develop, the lots with a golf driving range. That the akl3acent properues to the north and west are also zoned Industrial and the adjacent property ~/~o the east and the property on the south side of Hwy #10 N W is zoned B-3 Highway iBusxness. That on .~.pril 26, 1988, the City Council issued a conditional use permit to the Subject Property t? the establishment of an outdoor recreational facility in the Industrial District that woul~ include miniature golf, go-can track, bumper boats and roller fink. That on ~pril 26, 1994, the City Council issued a conditional use permit to expand the recreation~ facility to include batting cages. "' That the ~Applicant is proposing acquire the adjacent '10 acres and expand the outdoor recreatior~al use by the addition of a golf driving range.
