Councitmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g94-10- RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR HVAC WORK AT 14100 JASPAR STREET N.W. (PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY) WHEREAS, on August 31, 1994, the City of Ramsey purchased the property located at 14100 Jaspar Street N.W. for the purpose of a public works facility; and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee approved, at their September 12, 1994 meeting, a remodeling budget for the cement structure located on the site, for doors, HVAC/air exchange, roofing, electrical, landscaping and paving; and WHEREAS, the City Council, on September 12, 1994, ratified the Finance Committee's budget approval, with not-to-exceed amounts, to be done pursuant to the Minnesota bid law; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Minnesota bid law, bids were advertised and only the single following bid was received: P & D Mechanical Contracting Co. $61,171.00 AND WHEREAS, P & D Mechanical Contracting Co. is the lowest bidder. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with P & D Mechanical Contracting Co. in the name of the City of Ramsey for the installation of HVAC equipment at 14100 Jaspar Street N.W. in the amount of $61,171.00. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember .__ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 25th day of October, 1994.
