Councilmember i introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: ; RESOLUTION #94-10- RESOLUTION ~ECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR WORK AT 1410~ JASPAR STREET N.W. (PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY) HVAC WHEREAS 14100 Jaspar Street I WHEREAS remodeling budget roofing, electrical, la~ , on August 31, 1994, the City of Ramsey purchased the property located at [.W. for the purpose of a public works facility; and the Finance Committee approved, at their September 12, 1994 meeting, a 'or the cement structure located on the site, for doors, HVAC/air exchange, ~clscaping and paving; and WHEREAS. the City Council, on September 12, 1994, ratified the Finance Committee's budget approval, witl{ not-to-exceed amounts, to be done pursuant to the Minnesota bid law; and WHEREAS,! pursuant to the Minnesota bid law, bids were advertised and only the single following bid was re~ived: P & DIMechanical Contracting Co. $61,171.00 AND wHER~,EAs, P & D Mechanical Contracting Co. is the lowest bidder. NOW THEREFOR~E, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOK~I COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City _~,dministrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with P & D Mechanical Contracting Co. in the name of the City of Ramsey for the installation of HVAC equip,ent at 14100 Jaspar Street N.W. in the amount of $61,171.00. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being t ~tken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following vot~l against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were. absent: ? whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 25th day of October, lg94.
