ARTICLE 1. Definitions <br />The following words, phrases or terms hereinafter used in the agreement of any contract documents <br />shall be interpreted according to each designated meaning as follows: <br />1.1 Addenda: Written or graphic instruments issued prior to the execution of the agreement which <br />modify or interpret the contract documents, drawings and specifications, by additions, deletions, <br />clarifications or corrections. <br />1.2 Agreement: The written agreement between the Owner and the Contractor covering the work <br />to be performed, including all contract documents. <br />1.3 Bid Guaranty: The term means the security designated in the contract documents to be <br />furnished by the bidder as a guaranty of good faith to enter into a contract with the Owner if the work <br />is awarded to him. <br />1.4 Bid Proposal: The offer or proposal of the bidder submitted on the prescribed form setting <br />forth the prices for the work to be performed. <br />1.5 Bidder: Any individual, partnership, or corporation submitting a proposal for the work to be <br />completed. <br />1.6 Calendar Day: Every day shown on the calendar. <br />1.7 Change Order: A written order to the Contractor signed by the Owner authorizing an addition, <br />deletion or revision in the work, or an adjustment in the contract price or the contract time issued after <br />execution of this agreement. <br />1.8 Contract Bonds: Performance, labor and material payment bonds, maintenance or guarantee - <br />instruments of security, furnished by the Contractor and his surety in accordance with the contract <br />documents. <br />1.9 Contract Documents: The contract documents shall consist of the following: <br />(1) Legal and Procedural Documents <br />a. Advertisements for Bids <br />b. Information for Bidders <br />c. Executed Bid Form <br />d. Executed Bid Guaranty <br />e. Executed Agreement <br />f. Executed Bond <br />g. Notice of Award <br />h. Notice to Proceed <br />(2) Special Provisions <br />(3) Technical Provisions <br />(4) General Conditions <br />GC 2 <br />
