(5) <br />(6) <br />(7) <br />(8) <br />Executed Payment Forms <br />Drawing(s) <br />All addenda issued by the Engineer prior to the time of the opening of the bids. <br />Supplemental Agreements & Change Orders <br />1.10 Contract Price: The total monies payable to the Contractor under the contract documents. <br />1.11 Contract Time: The number of calendar days stated in the contract documents for the <br />completion of the work. <br />1.12 Contractor: The individual, partnership, or corporation undertaking the execution of the work <br />under the terms of the contract and acting directly or through a duly authorized representative. <br />1.13 Engineer: By the term "Engineer" is meant Tim Himmer, City Engineer, 7550 Sunwood <br />Drive. NW, Ramsey Minnesota 55303, who has been appointed by the Owner to take charge of the <br />work contemplated by these specifications and accompanying drawings and is designated and <br />referred to in these specifications as the "Engineer ". (The Engineer or Owner may appoint an <br />authorized representative or inspector, limited in authority, assigned to make inspection of the work <br />performed and materials furnished by the Contractor. Such a representative has no authority to order <br />or permit deviation from plans and specifications.) <br />1.14 Field Order: A written order affecting a change in the work not involving an adjustment in the <br />contract price or an extension of the contract time, issued by the Engineer to the Contractor during <br />construction. <br />1.15 Notice of Award: The written notice of the acceptance of the bid issued by the Owner to the <br />Successful bidder. <br />1.16 Notice to Proceed: The written notice issued by the Owner to the Contractor authorizing him <br />to proceed with the work and establishing the date of commencement of the work. <br />1.17 Owner: A private, public or quasi - public body or authority, corporation, association, <br />partnership, or individual for whom the work is to be performed. <br />1.18 Plans: The term means the official drawings, plans, profiles, elevation, cross sections and <br />supplemental drawings, or reproductions thereof, approved by the Engineer, which show the location, <br />character, dimensions and details of work to be performed. All such drawings, as listed elsewhere in <br />the contract documents, are a part of the plans whether attached to the contract documents or separate <br />therefrom. <br />1.19 Project: The undertaking to be performed as provided in the contract documents. <br />1.20 Project Representative: The term means an authorized representative of the Engineer, assigned <br />to make any or all necessary inspections of the work performed and the materials furnished by the <br />Contractor. <br />GC 3 <br />
