5.2 The Owner, through the Engineer, will furnish to the Contractor up to three (3) copies of the <br />Specifications and Plans as are reasonably necessary for the execution of the Work. Additional <br />copies will be furnished, upon request, at the cost of reproduction. <br />5.3 The Contractor will keep one record copy of all Specifications, Plans, Addenda, <br />modifications, and Shop Drawings at the Work site in good order and annotated to show all changes <br />made during the construction process. These shall be made available to the Engineer as the Project is <br />completed. <br />ARTICLE 6. Patent Fees and Royalties <br />The Contractor will pay all license fees and royalties and assume all costs incidental to the use of any <br />invention, design, process or device which is the subject of patent rights or copyrights held by others. <br />The Contractor will indemnify and hold harmless the Owner and the Engineer and anyone directly or <br />indirectly employed by the Owner from and against all claims, damages, losses and expenses <br />(including attorney's fees) arising out of any infringement of such rights during or after completion of <br />the Work, and shall defend all such claims in connection with any alleged infringement of such <br />rights. <br />ARTICLE 7. Work by Others and Subcontractors <br />7.1 The Owner may perform additional work related to the Project or may let other direct <br />contracts therefrom which shall contain general conditions similar to these. The Contractor will <br />afford the other contractors who are parties to such direct contracts (or the Owner, if performing the <br />additional work), reasonable opportunity for the introduction and storage of materials and equipment <br />and the execution of work, and shall properly connect and coordinate the Work with other <br />contractors. <br />7.2 If any part of the Contractor's Work depends upon the work of any such other contractor (or <br />the Owner) for proper execution or results, the Contractor will inspect and promptly report to the <br />Engineer in writing any defects or deficiencies in such work that render it unsuitable for such proper <br />execution and results. The Contractor's failure to report shall constitute an acceptance of the other <br />work as fit and proper for the relationship of his Work except as to defects and deficiencies which <br />may appear in the other work after the execution of this Work. <br />7.3 The Contractor will do all cutting, fitting and patching of the Work that may be required to <br />make several parts come together properly and fit to receive or be received by such other work. The <br />Contractor will not endanger any work of others by cutting, excavating or otherwise altering other's <br />work and will only cut or alter their work with the written consent of the Engineer. <br />7.4 Within 10 Calendar Days of execution of this Agreement, the Contractor will submit to the <br />Engineer for acceptance a list of the names of Subcontractors and such other persons and <br />organizations (including those who are to furnish materials or equipment fabricated to a special <br />design) proposed for those portions of the Work for which the identity of the Subcontractors and <br />other persons and organizations must be submitted as specified in the Contract Documents. Prior to <br />the execution of the Work, the Engineer will notify the Contractor in writing if either the Owner or <br />GC 8 <br />
