TO ESTABLISH~AND OPERATE AN ALTERNATE FUEL SUPPLY TEST DEMONSTRA, TION FACILITY ~'HEREAS, Kaltec of Minnesota, Inc., hereinafter referred to as ,AppLicant", has properly applied for a temporary Conditional Use Permit to establish and operate an alternate fuel supply test demonstration facility on the property generally known as 14730 Sunfish Lake Blvd. N.W. and legally described as follows: The Sou~ one-half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 32, Range 25, AnoVa County, Minnesota. ("Site") NOW i OF THE C MINNE$OTA 1) 2) ['HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF as follows: That Kaltec of Minnesota, Inc. applied on January 11, 1994, to the City of Ramsey i"Ciry") for a temporary conditional use permit to establish and operate an altemltte fuel supply test demons~afion fac[IiB, on land currently zoned I-1 Industrial. That the Applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing pd/'suant to §9.03.04 of the City. Code on Febma.r3' l, 1994, and that said public he_~xing was p~roperlv advertised. Notice:of said public hearing was published ~in the City s legal~ newspaper, Anoka County Union, on January 21, 1994 and Bailed notices of the public hearing were sent at least 10 days prior to the public healing to property owners within 1,000 feet of the user boundaries of the property ~.~ question. 3) That the minutes of the public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. 4) That at th¢ public hearing, the Applicant made a presentation describing it's proposed ~st demonstration project in accordCnce with the ~irten submittal entitled "Kaltec ofiMinnesota, 14025-C 23rd Avenue No., Plymouth, Minnesota 55447, Request fot Conditional Use Permit, City of Ramsey, 3~nuary 11, 1994". 5) That the Site is owned by Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. and that they support ~e application. 6) That the par. eel on which the proposed use is located is 40 acres in size. 7) That the Applicant proposes to erect a 6,000 souare foot pre-engineered enclosed stru.cmre t~ house the )?uel cell, gas processin~ equipment and~ncitlary support eqmpment~ ! 8) That the eqgipment housed in the structure includes two process modules, fuel cell stack, star~;-up heater, start-up skid, load bank, LFG cleanup system, Data I !
