Thc equipment has redundant safety features including automatic shut- down procedures. The test facility will also include two (2) temporarT mobile structures to provide office and bathroom facilities for project personnel. That the Applicant has indicated that at the conclusion of the test demonstration, the structure will b¢ removed from the Site and the equipment will be transported to mnother project site not within the City limit. That the Applicant has indicated that zero'residue from the test operations will remain on the Site; that all by-products are shipped out of state. That no State or Count), perm/ts are required for the test demonstration facility. That the permit being sought is for a period of one (l) year to accommodate site set- up, 4,000 hours of demonsu-ation testing and site teardown. That the property south and west of the Site is zoned Industrial and Residential to the north and east. That the test demonstrat/on facihty is proposed to be located approximately t,O00 feet fi'om the nearest residential dwelling. That materials and supplies required to support the demons='ation will be delivered bv n-uck ro the Site utilizing the existing landfill entrance off Sunfish Lake Blvd. That the Applicant has indicated that the test demonstration facility will ~ a 24 hour a cia), operation. That the Applicant has indicated that the methane gas extracted from the landr5.11 during the rest demonstration will not impact the flow of gas necessary for the power supply to Waltek, Inc. That the Applicant has indicated that the noise factor assc~.iated with the operational characteristics of the tand.f'fll gas/fuel cell system will be lower than the noise level of the existing blowers located at the site as part of the =m-oundwater n-eatrnent facilitf'. That the Applicant has indicated that the odor factor will be less than current existing odors at the Site for the following reasons: a) the demonsn-ation project will utilize the land_f'fll gas flow prior to the existing flaring process; and b) the gas will be introduced into a clean-up process system prior to introduction into the fuel cell. That the additional n'affic generated by the proposed use does not appear to be sign/ficant and would include supply services, operating personnel and visitors during normal operations.
