13720 Ebony St. N.W. <br />Ramsay, MN 55303 <br />February 22, 1994 <br /> <br />To: <br /> <br />Subject: <br /> <br />City of Ramsay Planning and Zoning Commission <br />and City Council Members <br /> <br />Proposed Expansion of Existing Self-Storage Facility on <br />Ebony Street <br /> <br />We have reviewed the plans with Bill and Jan Dubats to increase <br />the size of the self-storage business located at Riverdale Drive <br />N.W. and Ebony St. The proposed project is on the lot next to <br />our home. <br /> <br />We have no objection to this project, based on the plans to <br />provide a 15 foot landscape buffer, to hold the closest building <br />back 40 feet from our property line, and the nature of the <br />business there. Also, the existing business is clean and well <br />maintained. <br /> <br />After considering all of the types of business which could be <br />operated on the land zoned B-3, and their probable negative <br />effects on heighborhood property values, we believe that self- <br />storage is a relatively quiet/ clean, low traffic business.
