for a seven day period of February 15 through February 21, 1994
shows a total of 17 management trips and 94 customer trips for
the entire 7 day period (which included some very nice weather).
This is an average of 16 trips per day, with an average visit
duration of 12.3 minutes per visit. Essentially all trips are by
auto.

The proposed expansion would increase the visits to approximately
25 trips per day over the next three years. The estimated
aggregate vehicle traffic count for the streets served by the
storm sewer system is 2,500 per day. If vehicular pollution is
directly related to auto trip numbers, the auto trips
attributable to the facility expansion would represent : 9 /
2,500 = .0036, or about one-third of one percent. Such an
increase is insignificant. If airborne pollution is related to
paved area, the impact would be approximately 4%. Given the
minor amount of particle air pollution, this impact is also
immaterial.

In view of the foregoing, approval of the proposed business
expansion would not adversely impact the Critical Rivers
District.

Applicant specifically requests that a copy of this letter be
included in any submission to the Enviromental Quality Board
seeking review and comment from that Board.

Sincerely,

William C.
