Monthly Status Report <br /> <br />Complete <br /> <br />Pending <br /> <br />Pending <br /> <br />Complete <br /> <br />3/17/94 <br /> <br />3/17/94 <br /> <br />3/I7/94 <br /> <br />3/17/94 <br /> <br />Findings of Fact - Terry Hendriksen's request for a variance to <br />encroach on the thoroughfare setback: The Board of Adjustment <br />approved 1-10, and directed Staff to amend the following: (11) <br />"That such variance is necessary for the preservation of a <br />substantial property right..." (12) "That if granted, the variance <br />will not grant the Applicant any special privilege..." (13) "That <br />if granted, the variance will not be materially detrimental to the <br />purposes of the Ramsey Zoning Chapter . . ." (14) "That if <br />granted, the variance will not substantially increase the congestion <br />of public streets,..." (15) "That the applied for use is not an <br />expansion of the need for public services..." Add #16 to read <br />'~l'laat there is an ordinance on the table that would alleviate the need <br />for a variance in this particular case; this has been tabled pending <br />receipt of additional information from the Anoka County <br />Transportation Department." Add #i7 to read "That this property <br />has been recently surveyed by Anoka County as it relates to <br />upgrading Ramsey Boulevard; hence the right of way is well- <br />defined and an additional Certificate of Survey is not necessary. <br /> <br />Execute Resolution #94-03-049 (LaDue/Terry/Hendriksen <br />Abstained) adopting Findings of Fact g0355, as amended, relating <br />to Terry Hendriksen's request for a variance to thoroughfare <br />setback requirements at 15631 Ramsey Boulevard N.W. <br /> <br />Execute Resolution g04-03-050 (LaDue/Holland/Hendriksen <br />Abstained) approving the issuance of a variance to Terry <br />Hendriksen at 15631 Ramsey Boulevard N.W. and declaring terms <br />of same. <br /> <br />Findings of Fact - Ben Deemers request for a variance to construct <br />an accessory structure that will be'nearer the front property tine than <br />the principal structure: The Board of Adjustment approved 1, 3, 4, <br />6, and 8-14, and directed Staff to amend the following (2) "That the <br />subject property is zoned R-1 Rural Residential and is <br />approximately eight (8) acres in size;..." (5) "...the proposed <br />location for the accessory structure is approximately 220 feet from <br />the County Road #57 right of way. (7) Replace with "That <br />as to the portion of the parcel on which the accessory <br />structure is to be constructed, the ordinance would <br />allow 3,664 square feet of garage and accessory <br />building space." (15) "That if granted, the variance will not <br />grant the Applicant any special privilege..." (16) "That if granted, <br />the variance will not be materially detrimental to the purposes of <br />the Ramsey Zoning Chapter . . ." (17) "That if granted, the <br />variance will not substantially increase the congestion of public <br />streets .... "Add #18 to read "That the orientation of the house is <br />such that it appears to have been built with Sunfish Lake Drive as <br />the front front yard setback. The City is in the process of acquiring <br />Sunfish Lake Drive as a City street." Add #19 to read "That the <br />City of Ramsey has granted similar variances within the last year." <br /> <br /> <br />
